Gift from a Gran Gran Dec 28, 2009 My mother insisted on getting my son his Radio Flyer wagon. She was set on a red Radio Flyer and only knew about the good old, plain red wagon. When I told her about the Town & Country, she thought that would be a safer choice for her grandson. So, I thought I could go out a few days before his birthday and find this easily in my city. WRONG! No one had it in stock in any of their stores. Leave it to Amazon to save the day. I actually signed up for Amazon Prime with this purchase and Amazon Prime is the best thing since sliced bread and I love sliced bread!
Anyway, a definite thumbs up for this item. It handles well on pavement, on grass and in the kitchen. I recommend this one for every little boy or girl out there. :)
Oh...and it was fairly easy to put together. My son's father didn't get too frustrated when assembling it. So, that's a good thing. :)

Disappointed Aug 31, 2009 We bought this product without ever seeing it first, what a mistake! Very disappointed at the quality and craftsmanship of this product. This wagon shakes and rattles when you pull it down the sidewalk, it is embarrasing. I really wish we would have splurged and gotten the higher priced one with the off-road wheels. Will likely dump this one on Craig's List next year and get a better product.

Quality not up to Radio Flyer image Aug 19, 2009 I bought this wagon a year ago for my husband's birthday. To be used for hauling our grandson around the neighborhood and an occasional bag of garden soil. While the structure has held up, the finish on the wood slats has not. Within a month, and this was in July, the paint had started peeling. I have now sanded the sides down as I did not want to have my grandson sitting among paint chips.

Metal vs. Balsa wood maybe?????????? May 17, 2009 I DO NOT THINK THE RADIO FLYER TOWN AND COUNTRY RED WAGON IS A SUBSTANCIAL WAGON. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER TO PAY FOR A METAL WAGON THAT WOULD REALLY LAST THAN THE TOWN AND COUNTRY MODEL WITH SLATS LIKE TOOTHPICKS. tHIS WAS PURCHASED FOR A 3 YR. OLD BOY. SAFETY SHOULD BE PRIMARY, NOT THE COST. tHE LONGER WE LIVE THE MORE WE MUST REALIZE THE CHILDREN MUST COME FIRST, NOT THE DOLLAR.

Continuing a Great Tradition May 01, 2009 I am extremely happy with the Radio Flyer Town and Country wagon which I purchased for my newest grandaughter. It represents a tradition of Radio Flyer wagons in our family for over 60 years. I find that the current product appears at least as durable as the one in my childhood, which withstood much abuse, overloading and many high and low speed crashes. This new model has many improvements, the most important of which is the limit on the amount the handle can turn, thus preventing the wagon from turning over.
