Low cost alternative Feb 19, 2010 Purchased two battery sticks at substantial savings over retail. Both flashlights have seen little use in past 5 months. One is bedside and other is in my truck. Both are still on initial charge I gave them and are holding up well. No problems.
MagLight Battery Feb 14, 2010 Have only had the new battery for a few weeks, but, so far, it works as advertised. Actually, it isn't what I ordered; the Ni-Cad replacement battery. I received the newer NiMH battery instead. No problem, tho, as they say it works with the old charger, and it seems to do just that. I used my original Ni-CAD battery for close to 7 years, and it still works pretty good, but I've had to charge it every day for the past couple of years. I use my light for at least 30 minutes almost every night, and the new battery holds it's charge for several nights before I recharge. When these batteries discharge, they go dead all at once. There's no gradual discharge as with old batteries so don't get caught needing light with no way to charge-up. This is a great flashlight; the best I've ever owned, and these new batteries are doing their job. Only Time will tell if they're going to last anywhere near as long as the originals did.
Maglite flashlight battery replacement Feb 01, 2010 Maglite flashlight battery replacement was the correct battery and I am very satisfied with the price and shipment.
Ni Cad Rechargeable Battery Stick Nov 24, 2009 My last Maglite battery finally croaked after about seven+ years of usage. So after seeing the prices of these items at a local retailer, I looked online and found this item at substantial savings. So far so good, my ancient Streamlight SL-20 has no idea there is yet another Maglite battery within it. After working in the Police Equipment business for decades, I determined from our repair department (me), that Maglite batteries outlasted all others and were actually quite competitively priced with the cheaper brands of knock-off batteries on the market. It has been my experience that the Maglite battery can take slightly more abuse from fumble fingered operators.

Beware of junk! Jun 25, 2009 This the second replacement battery pack I have purchased. What sets this one apart is the price. Most places want $40, or more, for this battery pack. I still feel that a $10 to $15 price range would be fair. But, paying half price does make me feel better.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE I don't use the flashlight everyday, so when I tried it for the second time, just past the thirty day return period, I found that it was defective. Guess what Nobody would warranty it!
