All Negative Reviews Are Correct May 04, 2010 This will be my third season in utilizing these worthless shears. It is hard to believe that B & D would put their name on them knowing the quality of some of the tools they manufacture. Heed all you read about these shears in the reviews that appear here....they are all true and I have experienced all of them. Thank goodness I did not invest in the extension handle which must really be a joke in attempting to use them with that attached. Save your money and look for a better more dependable product that holds a charge for at least 1/2 half hour or more because these shears will die on you within ten minutes especially if you have to trim grass....YIKES!

Perfect Trimmer Sep 14, 2009 I was looking for an electric triimmer for trimming around landscaping and the sidewalk. This has been perfect. It's easy to handle and does a nice job trimming even higher, thicker grass and weeds. I would highly recommend this item, especially at such a good price and from a reputable company.

Black & Decker Grass Shears Sep 02, 2009 I totally agree with the other review of the product. I have charged this tool for over 24 hours & barely get 10 minutes of work out of it before it dies completely. It will not stay charged long enough to do any work with. Plus, I have not been able to find a replacement battery for it, thinking maybe this would help. So I will be donating it somewhere to someone who only needs 5 - 10 minutes of grass cutting time. I definitely would not recommend it at all!

Junk May 11, 2009 I own a lot of power equipment and this thing wins the award for the biggest waste of $$. Other B&D products I own work well. What a let down!

Cordless Grass Shears Jul 04, 2008 They are less efficient than I expected. The cutting quality is poor. Next time I'll opt for a goat
